Michelle Bachmann takes six place with just 5,786 votes in the Iowa Caucus.     Bachmann addressed supporters tonight after taking 6th place,  ”it’s the peoples voice that has been heard tonight”.        She vowed to march on and said the “pundits and the press will try to pick the nominee”, but “I prefer to the let the people decide”.

Many in the media have speculated that Michelle Bachmann might drop out if she did not do well in Iowa.   But in her speech she vowed to beat Barack Obama.
