Rick Santorum Addressed supporters in Iowa.    He thanked his wife, who has been his best friend and supporter.

“People often ask me wow have I done this?    ”99 counties, 381 townhall meetings, every morning when I woke up I required the strength of another special friendship.   The daily grace that comes from God.”

Santorum then said “Third thanks,  thank you so much Iowa”.

“Rights come to us from God.”

“This Country was not built from the top down, but from the bottom up”

“I believe in cutting taxes and in balancing budgets”.

“We must cut regulations on business.”

“What wins in America are bold ideas, and a plan that includes everyone, we will work together to get America to work”.

“By standing up and being bold and leading, you have taken the first step in taking back this Country”.

“When the family breaks down, the economy struggles….  When families aren’t there to instill values into their children, the neighborhood’s are not safe”  - ” These are the basic values that America stands for.   These are the values we need if we are going to go up against Barack Obama and win”.

“I want to close by thanking all of you. ”

“I want to thank those who stood up when no one else would”.    ”Thank you for leading”.

“I want to thank my family, my kids have not seen much of their dad over the last couple of months”   “There is a little girl not here tonight, she has a disability, (according to records had a one percent chance of survival after one year), she is 3 1/2 years old.  Bella is here with us in spirit and is deeply embedded in my heart”.

“People ask me what motivates me, it’s the dignity of every human life.”

“God has given us this Country to allow his people to be free.   We must honor that creation.   Whether it is the sanctity of human life or the well being of the worker you have a friend in me”.
