Bachmann Gives Advice to College Students and Says “Get Involved in the Race”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Michele Bachmann spoke with reporters and MariaNews.com about the ways college students can uphold conservative values on liberal college campuses. “Read all the time; be informed,” she began. “Find good conservative websites, read good conservative classics. Know why you believe what you believe. Do that first, don’t stop there.”

With five children of her own, Michele Bachmann certainly can speak from the perspective of a concerned parent. Not only has Michele Bachmann taken care of five of her own children, but she has also taken in 23 other foster children in her household.

She continued to address how college students can uphold conservative values on liberal college campuses. “Then, find some candidate you believe in. Get involved in the race. Avoid a couple of cups of coffee and send $10 to a candidate.”

She spoke on the importance of this upcoming election. “So we need volunteer help and financial help. Of all elections, this is the one that is going to determine the future of this generation.”

Ms. Bachmann stated earlier that day she has not endorsed any candidate for Election 2012.
