Assault on Faith… But the Tide is changing

Stand Up For Religious Freedom Rally – Tomorrow, June 8th!

Election 2012 is going to be a critical point in US history.   When leaders in office start passing law and issuing policy that diminish the integrity of religious institutions; it should be a cause for concern.

We frankly have leaders in office who are passing immoral laws.  We have a culture that promotes vice over virtue.  Our children in many public schools are being educated to believe in untraditional concepts of love, marriage, family and life.  God has been removed from the public square and Christian faith is under constant assault.     But the tides are changing!

There is a movement underway.  A wave of truth is beginning to spread across the desert of despair.

Ordinary and everyday people are being inspired to stand up for what they believe in!    As my dear friend Father Orsi from Ave Maria School of Law says, “the Holy Spirit is moving!”    Indeed it is!

Look around you.  Whether your in a big city or a small town.  There is something stirring.   The faithful are waking up to understand that our freedoms should not be taken for granted.  Everyday I am coming into contact with folks who are doing amazing things to promote the Truth.    From people praying in Adoration to folks who are blogging and making films.   Everyone has an important role to play!   Tomorrow is an opportunity for people of all faiths, who are interested in protecting religious freedom, to stand together!

Tomorrow the Stand up for Religious Freedom Rally will take place in over 160 cities across the United States!

This is the second of such Rally’s to be organized this year.   The Rally was started in response to the HHS Mandate issued by Kathleen Sebelius for the Obama Administration.  The Mandate would require Catholic and other private institutions to pay for things like sterilization’s, contraceptions and abortion inducing-drugs.
