On Sunday, the Holy Father will address the faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square for the final Angelus address of his pontificate.

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, it is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

The Church is a community that forms a life-giving stream that has its source in the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, runs through the eons of time, and carries us to the Communion of the Saints in heaven.
Truth, then, has arisen from the earth: Christ who said, I am the Truth, was born of the Virgin. And justice looked down from heaven: because believing in this new-born child, man is justified not by himself but by God.
