It is only if the principles of the universality and indivisibility of human rights and a “juridical order solidly based upon the dignity and nature of humanity, in other words, upon the natural law” are recognized that international cooperation can occur. Out of the universal and indivisible rights arising out of man’s nature, we must recognize as central the “dignity of the human person, beginning with the centrality of the right to life and to freedom of religion.”

I believe that if you understood who I truly am in my heart, and if it were possible to fully communicate what I believe is in the real, enduring best interest of African American families, you would vote for me for president. I want you to know that if I did not believe that my policies and my leadership would help families of color – and families of any color – more than the policies and leadership of President Obama, I would not be running for president. The opposition charges that I and people in my party are running for office to help the rich. Nonsense. The rich will do just fine whether I am elected or not. The President wants to make this a campaign about blaming the rich. I want to make this a campaign about helping the middle class.

No previous president ever promoted a giveaway more peculiar than Barack Obama’s mandate that all health care plans must offer free sterilizations to all women – but not all men – capable of breeding. This mandate is Obama’s defining act as president – just as his adamant opposition to a bill that would have defined a born baby as a “person” was his defining act as an Illinois state senator.

“Obama is a socialist” seems to be one of the mantras of the right, but while most mantras are grounded in ideology and wishful thinking, this one appears firmly rooted in the evidence. A report by Stanley Kurtz in an upcoming issue of the National Review shows that Obama not only has ties to a leftist-socialist party, but that he also tried to cover those ties in 2008 as he ran for election.

Obama is seeking re-election in the midst of a terrible economy. Here he hopes to appeal to a new, young generation of voters (many of whom may have become disenchanted since he took office), amp up his hipness factor and reach out to people concerned with education.

‘Their reach and influence covers all corners of Iowa, and I know they did not take this endorsement lightly. This means so much more to our campaign. If their work on behalf of Gov. Huckabee four years ago is any indication, I have no doubt they will be a terrific catalyst for our campaign as we continue building momentum in Iowa.’ (Rick Santorum)
