But, what is Natural Family Planning? It’s realizing the totality, the fullness, the completeness of human life, which begins with woman and man sealing their married love with a generous personal embrace of life – two persons committed to one another in such a way that they become “one” and welcome, with open hearts and lives, the gift of their children.

According to the decree of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, if ever I were to run for public office and be elected, it would not be a victory for women because I’m not the right kind of woman. In fact, women like me are a detriment to the cause and must be kept out of public influence. For those who were killed, our hope is the tender mercy of our God. “Neither death nor life,” reflected St. Paul, “can separate us from the love of God.” We commend their souls, and their families and friends, to God’s enduring love

It is clear that we should take an active part in that wondrous, sublime and unending reality. Others deserve to see, hear and experience our love for the truth of the Catholic Faith that they too may find the treasure buried in the field (Mt. 13:44 ff.).

In a decision that makes little or no sense whatsoever, the Taliban leadership of Pakistan has officially forbidden polio vaccines in retaliation for U.S. drone strikes in the region. In other words, the Taliban leadership will adversely punish their own child population with crippling disease and death on account of a U.S.-led military action. The World health Organization says that 280,000 Pakistani children could be affected by the measure.
