Ave Maria Law Student to run 26 miles in Boston to raise money for poor children, needs your help! 

Michael Acquilano has always been passionate about worthy  charitable causes.  Michael  is  a student at Ave Maria School of Law and President of Lex Vitae Society (the law school pro life student group).

This coming Monday, April 16 Michael will run 26.1 miles in Boston to raise money for Cradles to Crayons, an organization that brings school supplies to homeless and under privileged children.   Michael needs your help!   Please see his letter below:

Letter from Mike Acquilano, President of Lex Vitae / Ave Maria School of Law.

I hope this letter finds you well and in good health.  I am writing you concerning my most recent charitable adventure.  I have been asked by a dear friend to fundraise for another charity, Cradles to Crayons, and run the Boston Marathon on behalf of that organization.  Yes, that means I have to run 26.1 miles.  The race is on April 16, 2012 and will require significant discipline and hard work for me to both train and finish.  As you know, I always look for opportunities to impact a community in a positive way – and this is my new project.  Please help me make a difference.

I am required to fundraise $5,000.00 for this organization in an economy where money is tight and families are already struggling.  Nevertheless, every dollar I raise goes directly to the children that Cradles to Crayons helps through their programs.  You know me and understand that if I am putting this much effort into Cradles to Crayons while attending law school, it is, without a doubt, a worthy cause.  Information about Cradles to Crayons is attached for your viewing.
