A new Live Action Advocate undercover investigation catches Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business, lying about recent medical emergencies at its abortion clinics and claiming no women have been hurt there.

Lila Rose: “As President Obama campaigns for women voters, one of his top donors and champions, Planned Parenthood, is deceiving millions of American women about the services they provide, their history of abuse cover up, their radical abortion agenda, and just this past July, their unsafe and abusive practices that led to the death of Tonya Reaves, a 24-year-old Chicago woman.”

The Live Action Advocate video released today also reminds the public about the close political ties between President Obama and Planned Parenthood, which receives almost half a billion dollars a year in government money. Just last week, the Obama campaign released a video aimed at women voters featuring Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards.

Live Action investigators called Planned Parenthood abortion clinics with recent cases of medical emergencies and botched abortions in 7 different states asking if Planned Parenthood’s abortion practice was safe and if women had ever been hurt at the clinics. Not a single Planned Parenthood abortion clinic acknowledged the recent injuries of women.

When a caller asks Planned Parenthood’s Birmingham, AL, abortion clinic if when women get abortions at the clinic, “They’re not in danger, they don’t get, like, injured?” Planned Parenthood responds, “No ma’am, we don’t have any type of procedure where a woman would receive an injury.” While the Birmingham Planned Parenthood clinic botched a woman’s abortion in 2010 while it was on probation from the Alabama Department of Health.

“Our investigation exposes not only how unsafe Planned Parenthood clinics can be for women, but also how dishonest and untrustworthy Planned Parenthood is to the very women it claims to defend,” says Rose. “How shameful that two months after their clinic botched an abortion that took the life of 24-year old Tonya Reaves and her pre-born baby, Planned Parenthood lies to the public and pretends nothing happened. When it comes to the lethal dangers of its billion-dollar abortion business, no lie is too audacious for Planned Parenthood.”

“Planned Parenthood continues to engage practices that hurt women and young girls, all while billing themselves as the guardians of women’s health,” says Rose. “Our investigation proves that Planned Parenthood has little regard for the safety concerns of its ‘patients’ and continues to lie and mislead the public about the dangers of abortion.”

Planned Parenthood fires employee, but admits it won’t refuse sex-selection abortions

(LifeSiteNews.com) – The Planned Parenthood worker caught counseling a woman how to obtain a sex-selection abortion in the latest Live Action undercover video has been fired for not following an undisclosed protocol, said the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. At the same time, a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood told The Huffington Post that the abortion organization provides “confidential, nonjudgmental care” and would not deny a woman a sex-selection abortion, except in states where it is explicitly illegal.

Planned Parenthood quickly issued a statement Tuesday morning against the “hoax campaign” after the undercover pro-life group released its latest video showing a Texas clinic counselor helping a woman obtain an abortion based on the baby’s female sex. The counselor gave advice on aborting a child old enough for its sex to have been determined, and abusing Medicaid funds to pay for an ultrasound as if the mother were bringing the child to term.

In its response, the abortion group claimed the counselor, described as holding an entry-level position, did not follow protocol for providing “information and guidance” in the face of “a highly unusual patient scenario.” They said the counselor was fired and the staff at the Texas clinic scheduled for “retraining in managing unusual patient encounters.”

Planned Parenthood in red alert over undercover sex-selection abortion exposé

NEW YORK, April 24, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Planned Parenthood has raised the alarm over a “secret hoax campaign” it fears is currently being conducted by pro-life undercover investigators regarding abortions obtained because the unborn child is not the desired gender.

The nation’s largest abortion chain told The Huffington PostMonday that a string of “suspicious incidents” at abortion facilities across the country have led officials to believe another exposé was in the works. Those incidents allegedly involved a woman entering the clinic, saying she was pregnant, and asking questions about determining the gender of the fetus and obtaining a sex-selective abortion.

Planned Parenthood spokesperson Chloe Cooney told The Huffington Post that it suspects the pro-life group Live Action is working on a new campaign.  “As with the prior instances, we anticipate that once again this group, likely in coordination with a broad range of anti-abortion leaders, will soon launch a propaganda campaign with the goal of discrediting Planned Parenthood, and, ultimately, restricting women’s health,” she said.

Live Action and its president, Lila Rose, shot to fame after they released a series of undercover videos that showed Planned Parenthood workers helping young girls cross state lines for secret abortions and covering up statutory rape. Later videos showed workers aiding investigators posing as sex traffickers seeking abortions for their underage foreign prostitutes.

Live Action, the pro-life group responsible for recent undercover stings showing Planned Parenthood failing to report cases of sexual abuse, statutory rape and sex trafficking, will release a new investigation on Monday.

The new expose’ will show how opponents of recognizing the right to life of unborn children in Mississippi, backed by Planned Parenthood, are using lies and scare tactics to manipulate the public. Mississippi residents will vote on November on a personhood amendment that would define human life as beginning at conception.

Whether the amendment would actually ban abortions is a subject of considerable debate within the pro-life movement, but Live Action is looking to expose how Planned Parenthood and abortion backers are misleading the public on the amendment that voters will consider on November 8.

“Live Action released undercover videos in February documenting Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion chain, aiding and abetting suspected child sex trafficking from management on down,” the pro-life group added in its email to LifeNews about the new expose’ planned for Monday. “The videos led to the first-ever successful vote in the House of Representatives to defund Planned Parenthood and the diversion of over $60 million in taxpayer subsidies from the abortion giant on the state level. As a further result of Live Action’s undercover work, Planned Parenthood is now also the subject of a congressional investigation by the Subcommittee for Oversight and Investigations in the House Energy and Commerce Committee.”
