Pundits in the media predicted that Saturday night’s debate would become a slugfest. They were chomping at the bit hoping to see the Republican challengers to Barack Obama tear each other down.

On Gingrich’s campaign website he lists the executive orders he would sign on his first day in office if elected president. Two of these include reinstating the pro-life Mexico City Policy and restoring conscience clause protections for pro-life healthcare workers.
CBS News, and every other mainstream media outlet, is jumping all over the statements that Newt Gingrich recently made during an interview with The Jewish Channel.
The former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate made her endorsement in an interview to air Wednesday night on the Fox Business Network. Palin’s endorsement is the latest high-profile conservative to support the debate set for Dec. 27.
“You don’t need to sit in the pews every Sunday to know that there is something wrong with this Country”.
“One of these days we’ll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich,” she said. “I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him…”
The Republican Presidential Forum hosted by Mike Huckabee is precisely what the American people need and deserve as we approach the first Caucus in Iowa and the most important election in my lifetime. In fact, after viewing it, I suggest all other planned debates be cancelled. We should let the former Governor from Arkansas hold several more of these forums. The public would be much better served.
We appreciate Mr. Gingrich’s clarification on this important issue. Is this a complete 180 from the implantation statement?
