The Church has a multi-faceted identity. It is the Mystical Body of Christ because Jesus promised that he would remain united with us. He said, “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him (John 6:54). He compared our union with him as fruitful branches united to him, the True Vine (John 15:5).
“It is critically important to engage this demographic, especially through the expanding field of social media…”
“A pastoral approach which truly wants to help the people concerned must always be grounded in the truth,”
Today’s passage calls us to reflect on how committed we are to standing up for our faith…
“If we want to be bearers of Christ’s kingdom of peace, we must be willing to pay in person, to suffer misunderstanding, rejection and persecution in first person. The sword of the conqueror does not build peace…”
St. Paul reminds us in his letter to the Romans that from the beginning of time, God reveals Himself to us in the things he has created.
